Derek Rodgers is Edger's resident Gaytheist™. He is a first year student studying undergraduate Computer Science at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In 2007, he co-founded the only High School Freethought group in Canada, and is a founding member of the Dalhousie Atheist Community. He writes on topics ranging from scientific naturalism and religion to politics, free speech, and human rights. Derek is a devout Civil Libertarian, is obsessed with his small but ever-growing collection of novelty items, thinks Xenu is a pretty cool guy, and is convinced that Mitch Hewer is Cthulhu’s gift to gay boys everywhere.
