Since I don't really feel comfortable with the whole "speaking in third person about myself" thing, I decided that I would write my bio in first person. That way, I don't feel like I'm narrating my own comic book about myself. (No offense to everyone else who did theirs in first person, just personal preference.) I'm a senior at North Union High School, (Yes, I'm a youngin', but not the youngest writer for this site.) and I'm working on starting an Atheist friendly group in my small town community. I'll be honest, my list of accomplishments in the Atheist and scientific community is very small, so any advice on how to better my self as either of those or a writer is much appreciated. Constructive criticism is always a good thing. Alright, now to the part about my past... Well, I decided that "God" could not exist when I was about 12. I tried explaining the Bible with science, and it didn't work out too well. Especially when it came to walking on water, parting the seas, and getting a baby with out any contact. I mean, even Zues had some fun making Hercules. Oh, and the whole no evolution thing. My community is extremely christian. We're talking so extreme that the Baptists and Methodist have competitions to see who can build the most churches in a town with a population of 5,000. Luckily I graduate this year, and plan to become a biomedical engineer, with a specialization in cellular, tissue, and genetic engineering. My biggest concern is keeping religion out of science. Completely.
